Port Angeles! Walk around downtown or along the water on the Port Angeles Waterfront Trail, grab a glass of Wine, or ride up to Hurricane Ridge on the Shuttle.
Day trip to Victoria, BC! On of our favorite no car options via the Black Ball Ferry. You need your passport! Recommendation: HAVN (reservation required)
…In A Car
Tide pooling! Check for a low tide and visit Salt Creek Beach (free parking lot and vault toilet)
Learn about the Klallam Tribe and their fishing history. Walk out the Mouth Of The Elwha – access to trailhead, free parking, and a Porta-Potty.
Sol Duc Hot Springs and other Olympic National Park adventures or hikes via Washington Trails Association hike finder.
The Makah Tribe, Neah Bay, WA – The first stop you will need to make is for a Makah Recreation Permit. Hike out Cape Flattery, chow down at Calvin’s, learn about their culture and history at the Makah Museum or go big and charter a boat with Windsong or Father&Son for fishing and a coastal tour!
Recommendation: for overnight camping, stay at Hobuck Beach Resort (RV & tent spaces can be rented the day of…cabins must be rented ASAP!)
Cannabis and alcohol are both illegal on the Makah Reservation. Please respect tribal sovereignty while visiting.

Yodelin – fresh, healthy, soupy… our buddies’ spot! Best for a long lunch!
Mighty Pine Brewery for beer, cider, wine and Thursday – Saturday food on the patio
McPhee’s Grocery – for smoked salmon, wine, Asian foods and European candies
The Pine and Eight – all WA grown and made items. Best for items needed for an all-day outing or picnic
Country Aire Natural Foods – large grocery store with bathrooms and prepared foods
Safeway (there are two in Port Angeles)
Costco in Sequim, WA (20 minutes east of Port Angeles)
